Located next to the football stadium that hosted the 2002 Japan-Korea World Cup, the Munsu Aquatic Center is one of the region's premier swimming complexes.
The stadium and its surrounding area were renovated in 2021 and then reopened to the public as a park and sports center, providing a more pleasant and efficient environment for both competitions and leisure. The center is located on a large plot of 82,000 square meters, surrounded by green forests and natural lakes.
The Munsu Aquatic Center’s obsolete concrete pool has been renovated with Myrtha Pools’ RenovAction technology and now features a 50-meter pool and a diving pool, both compliant with FINA/WORLD AQUATICS international standards. The pool is now equipped with two removable headwalls manufactured by ISI POOLS for Myrtha Pools.
