A fundamental element appreciated by designers as well as by managers and users, which allows the pool to be versatile, being able to divide the pool as desired to carry out different activities at the same time.
Different types of movement available.
Built in compliance with all FINA/World Aquatics and accident prevention regulations, the moveable bulkheads are simple to move and withstand a significant overload even in the absence of water. Since the first wall installed in 1996, ISI has constantly innovated the project and has 450+ different references to its credit. It is a three-dimensional lattice structure, made of AISI 316 (or 304) stainless steel, with a prismatic shape. The construction rests on wheels on the edges of the tub or inside it.
The 4 wheels, 2 at each end, allow the moving wall to be moved to the long side of the pool; made from solid stainless steel, they are shaped to run on a ground guide (rails inserted into the flooring). Possible wheels covered in high performance polyurethane for installation without rails.

The moveable bulkhead is designed for anchoring the starting blocks, attachments for lanes, seats for parapets/handrails, connection of turning plates; entirely covered with grids and non-slip corners in UV-stabilised and anti-acid treated polypropylene.
From a structural point of view, the movable wall is suitable to withstand an accidental overload (beyond the permanent loads foreseen by the UNI EN 13451-11 standard), equal to 2 KN/M2 in the absence of water, the presence of which produces a favorable push upwards. The structure is made with multiple truss, with tubular currents at the corners of the section and wall rods, which create a spatial lattice, capable of resisting both vertical forces (permanent and accidental) and horizontal actions (thrust of the swimmers in the turn ), keeping any deformation null.
Movement can take place by manual pushing using special handles, or completely motorized with 24V motors inserted in special IP66 protected compartments and possibly equipped with extremely precise positioning sensors, for coordinated operation with funds or other mobile structures.
We remind you that the use of our. mobile bridges are approved by all international swimming federations, allowing long or short course competitions in the same facility.

Other fixed positioning configurations (25m).
90° flip walls, with hydraulic or electric movement.
Can be installed to divide the tank longitudinally or transversally.

Submersible walls, with vertical movement.
